2015 is well underway and we’re making it a year to remember, harmonically.
This Spring, like most, we are burning the midnight oil (not the Wizard Oil, mind you. That’s for drinkin’, gamblin’, and several days sleeping’ off) arranging and learning lots of new songs, giving concerts, and gearing up for another harmonic convergence of the always amazing annual Spring Sing. Whazzat, you ask? Why, the single most song-packed, melodious and in-tune event to grace the planet all year. And this year it’s in none other than…Boulder CO!
You got it right. Like Haley’s Comet and other long-awaited phenomena, Spring Sing only comes to Colorado rarely—in fact, every 10-12 years. It travels to a different city across the USA every year, until all the groups have hosted the event. Then it starts over. And 2015, it’s here in the rockin’ Rocky Mountains. And we are hosting, so you know it will be good!
Do you like the sound of human voices blending, reaching and soaring? Of new songs, old songs, and rich harmonies? Don’t miss out. Come to the Millennium Hotel in Boulder on Saturday morning, May 2nd, and enjoy a beautiful, non-stop variety of a cappella music all morning, and well into the afternoon, sung by diverse and talented groups that only converge here every 10-12 years. It will be a concert to remember, a music lovers sing-a-thon.
We’ll be there, singing, harmonizing, partying and, you guessed it, nipping’ at the Wizard Oil. We hope you make it too!
